162 families were given food packets and hygiene kits in Uttarkashi and Chamoli
Care Today continues to provide much-needed relief material in partnership with Save the Children.On July 6,Save the Children and India Today Group staff braved
bad weather to provide relief to 80 families in Kharadi in Uttarkashi district and 82 families in Govindghat in Chamoli district.With this,Care Today has provided relief to
209 families to date.The food basket comprised of 30 kg rice,5 kg lentils,10 kg flour, 2 kg sugar, 3 litres cooking oil, 1 kg salt and mixed masalas. Hygiene kits included a bucket, mug, toothpaste, toothbrushes,washing soap, bathing soap, a jug, two tarpaulin sheets and two blankets per family.
Care Today Fund appeals to citizens to continue giving generously for the difficult rehabilitation efforts that will begin after the relief operations.
